The MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival and the New Orleans Hotel Collection invites two grand-prize winners to experience the excitement of
New Orleans, featured city of our 11th edition!
Montreal, Friday, April 2, 2010 - This past February, the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival and the New Orleans Hotel Collection enjoyed their first collaboration. The featured city of our 11th edition, New Orleans took over Montreal’s finest tables, inviting in six of Louisiana’s finest chefs. Among the great triumphs of this culinary experience, let us cite the special dinner conceived and hosted in L’Épicier by Louisiana gastronomical personality Thomas Wolfe. In that spirit, and to perfectly cap off our partnership, New Orleans will welcome two lucky winners of our contest, the New Orleans Hotel Collection invites you to experience the excitement of New Orleans, to enjoy a stay in one of the hotels of the New Orleans Hotel Collection (the Dauphine Orleans Hotel and the Bourbon Orleans Hotel) on two different weekends in late April during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
Our two winners will experience the full musical, culinary and cultural heritage of New Orleans, from its bountiful tables to its artisans to its dozens of venues, laying out their banquet of zydeco, rock and jazz! Their prizes include a weekend in one of the hotels of the New Orleans Hotel Collection, return airline tickets to New Orleans, and weekend admission to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
Congratulations and bon voyage to Chantal Brodeur and Marie-Josée Robitaille, our two lucky contest winners!
New Orleans, featured city of the 11th edition of the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival
Ah, New Orleans… legendary capital of Louisiana, with its jazz soul, its streets packed with party-goers, its French Quarter, its perfume of bourbon, bonhomie, cafés and gumbo, the Big Easy is a dream of a city. Its festive spirit and gastronomical bounty thrilled Montrealers during the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival, thanks to the presence of numerous New Orleans chefs.
It was only natural to join forces with New Orleans, and name it the featured city of the Festival: gastronomy, music, a festive spirit and a French heart are but a few of the parallels between our two great North American cities.
