31st edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal

Montreal, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 - Organizers of the 31st edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal would like to inform the public of these latest changes and new additions to the program, specifically concerning cancellations, additional performances, and sold-out concerts.

Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu concert cancelled

Organizers of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal regretfully announce that Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu has cancelled the concert scheduled on June 28 at 7 p.m. at Club Soda due to health problems. We send our best and wish him a swift recovery.

Ticket holders for this concert can obtain refunds at the sales point only.

An additional performance by Bobby Bazini

Following the strong public reaction to the l’annonce du concert de Bobby Bazini concert (a sold-out performance July 2 in Club Soda), Festival organizers have decided to offer an additional performance on Monday, June 28 in Club Soda at 9 p.m., part of the Les Couleurs SAQ series. The Quebec singer, who just turned 21, was recently presented with a gold album for sales of his debut release, Better in Time.

Tickets for this new concert by Bobby Bazini are available from Ticketpro at ticketpro.ca, at 514-790-1111 or 1-866-908-9090, or directly from the Club Soda box office (1225 St. Laurent Blvd.).
