100,000 visitors hit the Sympatico-MSN site

to watch their concert at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal!

Montreal, July 22, 2008 - It’s no secret-the long-awaited live concert return of Bran Van 3000 was a smash hit! Surpassing all expectations, the show, presented as the Événement Spécial Bell during the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, was a blockbuster success in every way! Bursting with renewed vitality, the members of the Montreal collective fused their energies into a single force, detonating onstage with a power that created a Party for the ages! That shared connection onstage spread like wildfire through the crowd, creating a moment that will last forever in the memories of concert fans, who just couldn’t get enough! Burning up the stage, James Di Salvio and his band thrilled the crowd with new songs from the Rosé album as well as BV3K classics like Drinking in L.A., Astounded, Speed and Afrodiziak. And what can we say about the massive crowd that attended THE party of the summer! So many dance-mad fans flocked to hear the sunny, energetic music of Bran Van 3000 that we had to close down all access to the festival site before the show even started at 9:30 p.m.-meaning over 100,000 people were already on site!
