Jazz dinner-cruise aboard the Bateau-Mouche

Take a slow, sophisticated ride on the Bateau-Mouche in the company of the bold, spirited Sonia Johnson, a fabulous melodic and literary voyage linking jazz spontaneity with the lyric poetry of chanson à texte. It’s a lovely opportunity to float away with her sparkling new album, Le Carré de nos amours (2012 Juno for Best Jazz Vocal Album), sailing out with a francophone jazz repertoire drawing inspiration from blues, swing and Latin music, accented by a bouquet of top-shelf contributions. A dinner-cruise aboard the most luminous venue in the city, with a menu courtesy of chef-owner Louis‑François Marcotte’s Simpléchic Traiteur.

From July 1 to 6, 2012

Boarding at 6:15 p.m. from the Jacques Cartier Quay in the Old Port of Montréal, returning at 10:30 p.m.
