Hyundai becomes official sponsor

37th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal

Montreal, Thursday, January 14, 2016 — Organizers of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal are happy to announce the arrival of Hyundai Motor Company as new official sponsor of the event. Driven by a shared love for art and a vision for universal access to culture, the two partners have signed an agreement which will allow the 37th edition of the event, presented by TD in collaboration with Rio Tinto from June 29 to July 9, 2016, to offer even more excitement, ambience and artistic expression over the 10 days and nights of musical festivities that have won its international reputation.

This is an agreement and alliance that empowers Montrealers to cherish and be proud that they have the biggest and greatest jazz festival in the world.”

For both the musicians and the audience, jazz is an interactive, creative and emotional experience, which is also what Hyundai Motor is dedicated to providing its customers.”

The agreement ensures that Hyundai Motors will exclusively sponsor a free outdoor stage at the Festival. A Hyundai VIP salon will be established near the main stage to host private events every evening. The company will also host three product display booths in high-traffic areas on the outdoor site. Hyundai will also supply vehicles to organizers to ensure Festival runs smoothly.

The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is now one of Hyundai’s major worldwide arts sponsorship partnership.
